Sat 02.08.2008 Workshop: MIGNON GAME KIT

In this one-day workshop led by Kassel-based media artist Olaf Val, participants will build their own minimalist game console. Based on a 35-dot LED display and a microcontroller, the Mignon Game Kit is a computer game inspired by the first generation of mobile games.

Through soldering and assembling the device, participants will gain practical skills in working with microelectronics. Using the kit as a foundation, they will invent, solder and programme their own games.
