At the Ossi/Wessi Sewing Café, we’ll be sewing the WENDEpailletten patches onto clothes by hand together. Inspired by storytelling cafés where people share their stories, this collaborative craft session creates a space to exchange personal experiences from East and West and to reflect on issues of work and identity.

If you see yourself as an ‘Ossi’, do you see yourself as a ‘Wessi’? For whom do these categories still play a role today? Why are they important to some, but not to others?
