Sat 06.06.2009 Workshop: We Build a Robot Orchestra

Robots work in industry, they can help around the home or even play football. You want to build a robot yourself—but how do you get started?

This workshop is designed for children and young people aged 10–16. Participants learn how robots work and how to build and control such a moving “creature” themselves. Using simple building blocks, they create robots that can move and produce sounds. The goal of the workshop is a performance in which the self-built robots come together as an orchestra.

No previous knowledge or experience is required.

Target group:
Girls and boys aged 11–16, no previous experience required

Times:
Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00 am–1:00 pm and 2:00–4:00 pm

Cost:
€25 per person, including a small lunch snack
