Sakrowski, curator and founder of panke.gallery (Berlin), presents music productions on the themes of Robotron, music from the GDR and computer music. Free admission.
Robert Sakrowski is an art historian and works as a curator in Berlin. From 1999 to 2003, as part of the netart-datenbank.org project, he curated and organised exhibitions and lectures on the subject of net art. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a research assistant on the Netzpioniere 1.0 research project at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Media.Art.Research in Linz. Since 2007, under the name CuratingYouTube.net, he has been intensively engaged with the phenomenon of web video and, with gridr.org (2012), provides an online tool developed specifically for this purpose. In 2014/15, he worked as a curator for the transmediale 2015 festival, ‘capture all’. Since October 2016, he has been directing and curating the panke.gallery in Berlin-Wedding. He is a founding member (2019) of the Centre for Net Art. In 2022, he opened the /rosa project space in collaboration with the Centre for Net Art and the panke.gallery. In 2021, he developed the web platform
openAR.art for the presentation and curation of web-based augmented reality objects.
