Alexander Pehlemann, born in 1969 in East Berlin. Activist, wrestler (classical, ASK “Vorwärts” Frankfurt/O.), art historian (studied in Greifswald). Author (“Go Ost! Sound – Time – Space. Journeys into the Subcultural Zones of Eastern Europe”, radio features), editor (ZONIC – Almanac for: Kulturelle Randstandsblicke und Involvierungsmomente, "Spannung. Leistung. Widerstand. Magnetbanduntergrund DDR 1979–1990", "1984! Block an Block. Subkulturen im Orwell-Jahr", "Warschauer Punk Pakt. Punk im Ostblock 1977–1989"), Kompilierer ("Go Ost!", "Polska Rootz", "Notes From The Underground"), DJ (Al-Haca Sound System), Kurator und Netzwerker. Seit 2018 Betreiber der Edition Iron Curtain Radio (Major Label). Lives in Leipzig.
