Parallel Worlds – and where were you?
A perceptual game focusing on observing and documenting selected locations in and around the U, for up to 10 children aged 9 to 12.
The Dortmunder U – Centre for Art and Creativity is a fascinating place. An old brewery building full of rooms, corridors and art. Together with you, we want to explore the U, discover its architecture and corridors, and use various methods to build a model based on our experiences. How does the place change when you photograph it, film it, create a collage of it, simply describe it or recreate it? Does it perhaps transform into something completely different? Explore the U with us, get to know its floors and its art, and dive with us into the parallel worlds that emerge when we explore the space using a wide variety of tools.
A final presentation will take place on Sunday at 4 pm, to which family and friends are warmly invited.
In 2011, Kerstin Ergenzinger was awarded the scholarship for female media artists by the Ministry for Family, Children, Youth, Culture and Sport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
