Sat 27.04.2013 Mix it! A Mash Up-Workshop

There’s plenty of material to choose from: whether it’s YouTube videos or radio reports, anything can be mixed together. Over the course of a weekend, we’ll be exploring the language of the media. What do they tell us? What do we want to hear? What do we want to say ourselves? Using editing software, we’ll break down existing videos and audio tracks and reassemble them into our own clips. Whether it’s a funny short film, a nonsensical radio advert or a news programme reporting on strange events – there are no limits to your creativity. Let’s make the media speak in our own language!
The workshop will be led by the artist Caspar Walbeck.
