The Mignon Game Kit Workshop is a two-day workshop for up to 12 participants aged approximately 12–16.

Build Your Own Video Game and Program Your Own Games!

Creating your own handheld game console couldn't be easier: participants solder a display, six buttons, a speaker and a microcontroller onto a circuit board—and that's it!

No previous experience is required. Everyone builds a fully functional handheld video game that they can take home at the end of the workshop. Video games are not just something to consume—they can also become a source of creativity when you start making them yourself.

Using materials from a DIY store, participants can design and build a custom case for their game console or even modify the game's source code. Along the way, they gain confidence in working with technology and electronics while discovering the creative possibilities behind digital games. The workshop demystifies the medium of video games by encouraging participants to become makers rather than just players.
