Exclusive event for teenagers and adults: Free ‘Paper Pattern’ origami workshop
18:00 – 19:30
Ebene 3
Free admission
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn the complex folding techniques of origami. Through the interplay of algorithms, repetition and pattern formation, two- or three-dimensional objects are created from paper. By combining different folding patterns and coloured papers, individual modules can be designed which can then be assembled into larger, fascinating patterns.
The workshop draws inspiration from the works in the exhibition *Holding Pattern – Waiting Loops and Other Loops*, which explore questions of (movement) patterns, rituals, rhythms and algorithms that govern our lives and shape the modern world.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced participants.
For young people and adults.
