260724 30 Jahre HMKV Konzert c Luan Sandkuehler42

Things are getting loud on the Sommer am U stage! Join us to celebrate our anniversary. From 20:00, Die Jugend von Gestern (Dortmund) and GRENZKONTROLLE (Cologne) take to the stage. A DJ warm-up by Lera Zagrevskaya kicks things off at 19:00. Admission is free.

Both bands share HMKV’s engagement with contemporary social and political issues. While GRENZKONTROLLE explores these questions through post-punk, Die Jugend von Gestern channels emotional and political tensions into a sound that blends hypnotic guitars with dreamlike lyrics.

The evening is a chance to look back together on 30 years of HMKV, share memories and celebrate this milestone.
